It's no surprise there are some spooky, historic spots in Detroit. One location however has all the makings for an extra haunted experience.
Fort Wayne has experienced more trauma than most places. From originally being Native American burial grounds, to a military post when the American's were guarding it from the British. Then later it was a battle ground during the civil war. To make matters worse, Fort Wayne was also the location where the 1979 Detroit riots took place, taking many lives.
Today there are still civil war reenactments that take place at Fort Wayne but the catch is, reports have been made that it can be difficult to tell the civil war phantoms from the reenactment soldiers.
