American Airlines had an awful weekend. The Texas based company, American Airlines, citing poor weather and thin staffing, canceled another 634 flights on Sunday, bringing its weekend total to more than 1,500. American Airlines is not the only airline facing issues. Another Texas based airline, Southwest Airlines, had 1,150 delays to start the weekend but only 21 cancelations.
There is no official word on whether or not the staffing issue is related to the vaccine mandates happening all over the American business landscape.
