Local Sex Offender Arrested For Working Concession Stand At Football Game

Police in Dade County were able to make an arrest of an area sex offender. Amanda Pardue was arrested, without incident, while working the concession stand at an area high school football game. Pardue was arrested in 2018 after sending "inappropriate and sexually explicit images, of herself, and messages" to several 14 year old boys while she worked as a substitute teacher. “Probable cause was determined to affect an arrest for Amanda Pardue as she knew, or should have known that her actions on October 22, 2021 were in violation of the State Sexual Offender Registry,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.

Pardue plead guilty and was sentenced to 10 years on probation and registered as sex offender for those earlier charges. Pardue is now in custody and awaiting her next court date.
