Karen Minton is no stranger to the world, and Atlanta, knowing about her and her life. Now, Minton has shared one of the biggest pieces, a diagnosis of breast cancer. "The kind of cancer I have is very easily taken care of," Minton told former co-worker, Linda Stouffer. “I keep my checks going. I constantly go in when they tell me we have to have something looked at further, I do it. You have to find it early because I am not going anywhere,” Minton said.
Early detection is key to beating breast cancer. Minton had a recent procedure and is at home recovering.
