Grace Smith stood up to the mask mandate in schools and was sat down. Smith is a junior at Laramie High School in Wyoming. Smith believes that mask mandates violate her constitutional rights. Smith was arrested for trespassing after she refused to leave school grounds Thursday. Since then she's raised $53,000 in donations. Smith said, 'It’s because I’m growing up in a country where I’m supposed to have my God-given rights to protect, and they’re being taken away. Everybody has the freedom to wear a mask if they choose, but I believe everybody also has the right to not wear a mask if they choose.' Smith now faces the possibility of expulsion, which kicks in after 10 days of suspension. She's racked up six during the course of her crusade.
