Are you a "duty ditcher," a person that intentionally acts bad at something so you don't have to do it again? Spencer Graves, of Spencer & Kristen claims that everyone has done it at least once. In fact, a friend of his purposely ran over a stump in the backyard so she never had to mow the lawn again. Her Dad was ticked that it broke the blade and banned her from mowing.
Some of the other most well known chores that people "duty ditch" are laundry and loading the dishwasher. People even do this at work with changing the toner in the printer, excel spreadsheets etc.
