A couple that breaks in together, recuperates together. Claire Vickers and her friend, Barry Douglas, got a little drunk one night and decided to break into a waterpark in the United Kingdom. The pair managed to slide under a fence. Once inside, they saw a big yellow slide, the kind that you go really fast down. Once at the top, they noticed the water was off so one ran down, got some water from the pool and went back up. The two went down the slide but had no idea that a barrier was placed, while the park is closed, at the end of the slide. Both shattered their ankles.
Neither of them could walk, and no one was around. So they had to bang on the slide for several hours until someone heard them. Claire spent several weeks in the hospital, and they're both still in wheelchairs recovering. The good news is the waterpark decided not to press charges. The bad news, the pair has filed a lawsuit against the waterpark...even though they broke in.
