The Olympic Games in Tokyo have brought on some challenges. Now, the drama has made it's way to the equestrian portion. Riders, from a ton of countries, are claiming that the sumo statues are spooking the horses, which makes it dangerous for the horse but also the rider. âAs you come around, you see a big guyâs (butt),â British rider Harry Charles said. Among the horses alarmed by the setup was Franceâs Penelope Leprevost, a team jumping gold medalist in 2016. She wasnât sure if the wrestler specifically threw off her 12-year-old stallion, Vancouver de Lanlore.
Also, the horses traveled on Air Horse One to Tokyo.
