The World's greatest athletes are being welcomed with the worst accommodations. Athletes from every country, were welcomed to Toyko with cardboard beds. What sounded like a joke is actually true. Many reports suggested that this was a way to curb sex in the Olympic village but the International Olympic Committee says the beds are designed to be "eco-friendly." There are five key areas where they hope to eliminate waste and be more environmentally focused; Workforce, Infrastructure, Mobility, Climate & Sourcing.
