Four officers in Canton are being hailed as "heroes" after rushing into a fire and saving an elderly woman. The fire broke out in a Cherokee County subdivision and engulfed several homes when Canton Police officers Michael Caplan, Jesse Lee and Domenick Marotta and Sgt. Taylor Lilley arrived. At one point, officers carried an elderly woman to safety before fire crews arrived. The officers were recently honored by city officials of Canton.
