Some of the biggest names in professional bass fishing have never won a Bassmaster Classic, Bill Dance, Roland Martin, Gerald Swindle and Jimmy Houston. Swindle came close, missing a win by just a little less than a pound. With that being said, Hank Cherry of North Carolina, has won it back-to-back. Cherry put on a show in Texas at Lake Ray Roberts catching over 50 pounds of bass in four days of fishing. In addition to the championship, Cherry won $300,000. Newnan local, Micah Frazier, finished 51st.
