Another legendary brand is changing their identity in hopes to promote gender equality. Hasbro, the owners of Mr. Potato Head, announced that they will be eliminating "Mr." from the brand name to help promote gender equality so that "all are welcome in the Potato Head world." While its being touted as inclusion, some people say it's just a race to be right. Last year, Mattel, the makers of Barbie and a competitor of Hasbro, announced a change to "Barbie's" to help make that brand more inclusive, too.
Mr. Potato Head has been a signature toy for Hasbro since it was introduced in 1952.
