Kelsea Ballerini revealed that she and husband, Morgan Evans, never had an "actual" first date. The pair met while hosting an award show in Australia, Evans home country. Ballerini said to 'Spencer and Kristen' that they hosted the show, attended a wrap party when Evans asked to kiss her at the bar. "He asked if he could kiss me and I was like, well, sure!" Ballerini said. "And then the next time we hung out was in Nashville and we were already exclusively talking for a couple weeks." Ballerini went on to say that they did have dinner at Chuy's where she had a burrito, fish bowl margarita and queso. Ballerini wanted Evans to know what he was getting into.
Ballerini and Evans married in 2017.
