Memorial Services For Hank Aaron Have Been Set

Hank Aaron was more to Atlanta than just a man who hit towering homeruns. Aaron was an advocate, a voice of reason, a lifelong steward of the game. Going into the weekend, we lost Henry "Hank" Aaron. Now, you can celebrate the life of the Homerun King, but not in person. There will be a memorial service at Truist Park, Tuesday at 1 pm and another one on Wednesday, at Friendship Baptist Church at 1 pm. It's rumored that former MLB Commissioner, Bud Selig, will attend along with former President Bill Clinton. The Braves did open Truist Park over the weekend for fans to pay their respects near the statue of Aaron on the concourse.

Due to COVID-19, these services are closed to the public.
