A 34 year old woman, known as "JC" suffered "months of hallucinations" and developed a tape worm after eating gas station sushi. In addition to the hallucinations, she also had issues going to the bathroom and insomnia.
Doctors gave her a medicine, which killed the tape worm, and she made a full recovery.
