Police in Texas are urging gun owners to practice proper gun safety tactics while in their homes. A man in Texas went to the hospital with a gun shot wound. When asked how it happened, the man responded with "my dog shot me." What sounds outlandish, actually was the truth. The man had his gun, in his waistband but not holstered when his dog jumped on him, catching his paw inside the trigger guard. One round went off, injuring the man.
