Justin Moore surprised the crowd with Priscilla Block as he performed his career-spanning country anthems at the 2023 iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One. The pair joined forces for a steamy duet, âYou, Me, And Whiskey,â that appeared on Mooreâs recently-released album, Stray Dog.
Moore and Block released their duet ahead of Stray Dogâs debut, portraying a couple reflecting on the earlier days of their relationship as they reignite their romantic spark. Moore previously said itâs âdefinitely the spiciest, sexiest, most sultry â whatever you wanna say â video that weâve done.â
Thatâs one of two collaborations featured on the Arkansas nativeâs 8-track project, in addition to âEverybody Get Alongâ with Riley Green. Moore spanned his decades-long career with his iHeartCountry setlist, including âWhy We Drink,â âTil My Last Day,â âBait a Hookâ and âSmall Town USA.â
âWhen I started my career â I donât know why because it was not by design, but I was kind of labeled an âoutlaw,â or âoutlier,â or ânonconformist,â or whatever, for whatever reason,â Moore reflected on his career during a recent album release party in Nashville, Tennessee. He added as he released his long-awaited album, âIâve never hidden or shied away from who I am as a person. If you know anything about me, if youâve listened to any of my records, you can probably come up with a pretty good idea. âŠA long time ago I decided I wasnât going to play games or pursue things that didnât make me happy, perhaps thatâs made me a bit of an outsider in this industry, but itâs also what allows me to go to bed each night feeling good about what Iâm doing. Iâve never just gone along with the crowd. Iâve always tried to follow my heart and let the chips fall where they may, and Iâm really proud of that.â
