Jeff Bezos will be flying to space on the first crewed flight of the New Shepard, the rocket ship made by his space company, Blue Origin. The flight is scheduled for July 20th, just 15 days after he is set to resign as CEO of Amazon. The founder of the retail giant confirmed this exciting news on Monday. His brother, Mark, will ride along with him."Ever since I was five years old, I've dreamed of traveling to space," Bezos, 57, said in a Monday morning Instagram post. "On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend."Want to join the Bezos brothers? You can bid on a seat on the first human flight in an auction that benefits Blue Origin's foundation, which has the mission of inspiring future generations to pursue careers in STEM. The current high bid is $3.2 million.

I mean- I would be a little nervous to be on the FIRST flight... maybe go on the second or third?? Also- he's such a rich man, who would get all his money if he died? Now that he's divorced he might wanna keep a lookout for a family member monkeying with the rocket before takeoff!
