Eddie recently announced that he needs sponsors, because he’s decided to take part in an upcoming Dyslexia Walk.
The event is happening on September 27th and offers a 5k, 10k, or 1-mile “Dyslexia Dash.” Eddie admits he only knows about it because he saw a sign on the side of the road… though he thinks his dyslexia may have messed with him reading it correctly. Eddie was diagnosed with both dyslexia and dyscalculia on The Bobby Bones Show, but he confessed he’s still not totally sure what dyslexia is. At first, he thought the walk might be about finding a “cure.” But in reality, the event raises money to provide tutoring and support services for people living with dyslexia.
Still, Eddie is all in. He says he’ll proudly walk and even wear sponsor patches on his shirt if it means raising more money. Bobby couldn’t resist joking that if Eddie is walking for dyslexia, maybe he’ll start a walk for hangnails next since “those impact a lot of Americans too.”
Whether he runs, walks, or accidentally signs up for the wrong race, Eddie’s ready to show up for a good cause.
