I shaved my head a few months ago for a great organization, St. Baldrick's. They raise money to help kids in the fight against cancer. Probably not surprisingly, my own kids (and wife) weren't thrilled with the outcome. Now, 2 months later, my hair is finally returning. While my family is thrilled with my progress, I can't help but think of those who never get back to this point. Those who lose their hair while undergoing chemotherapy and never get back to the life they used to know. It's for them I shave my head and exactly why I'll do it all over again next year.
