Grammy's No Go due to Omicron


  • COVID has hit a sour note for music's biggest night again. 
  • For the second year in a row, the Grammy Awards have been postponed because of the pandemic. 
  • This year, the ceremony scheduled for January 31st in Los Angeles has been put on hold because of the contagious omicron variant. 
  • A statement said, "After careful consideration and analysis with city and state officials, health and safety experts, the artist community, and our many partners, the Recording Academy and CBS have postponed the 64th Annual Grammy Awards Show."
