Krispy Kreme has an answer for concurrent cookie and doughnut cravings.
The doughnut company has created two new Oreo doughnuts. The collaboration with the cookie company marks the first time in Krispy Kreme's 84-year history it has teamed up with another brand to create a new glaze.
The new treats – the Oreo Cookie Glazed Doughnut and Oreo Cookie Over-The-Top Doughnut – are available now through April 18, the company announced Monday.
“We’ve taken everything fans love about OREO Cookies and ‘glazeifed’ it,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer, said in a statement.
While this is the first time Krispy Kreme has partnered with another brand on its glaze, the company has made doughnuts with Oreos before, including special Valentine's Day 2018 heart pastries topped with cookie crumbs. And the next year they created a Chocolate Glazed Oreo Cookies & Kreme Doughnut as part of its limited-time Chocolate Glaze Collection.
