I never get tired of watching the reaction when country stars are asked to join the Grand Ole Opry. Chris Janson,Craig Morgan, and John Conlee popped the question to LUKE COMBS on Tuesday, and he was speechless.
He doubled over and started crying, and then hugged all three of them. One at a time. The video is on the Grand Ole Opry Facebook page.
Luke shared his thoughts later on social media.
Quote, "This is the feather in my cap as far as career goals. It's #1. It cannot be surpassed. It's something I've dreamed about since I made my debut. It's such a storied thing. I was like, 'I'll do whatever it takes to become a member.'"
In an interview backstage he added,quote, "You never think it's going to happen. When they asked, I literally couldn't believe it. I didn't know what to say. There's nothing to say but yes, and I didn't even say yes. I just cried the whole time."
Luke will be officially inducted later this year!
