Dollar Bill and Madison surprise retired Sgt. Ronald Conn!

posted by Dollar Bill & Madison -

We have been looking for someone to honor locally who helps with our Veterans and boy did we find a great guy!  Watch the video of the little surprise we had for Ronald!  Here is the letter we received from Ronald's wife submitting him for our Dollar Bill and Madison's Doing Good:

Good afternoon, my name is Percilla Miller-Conn. My husband is Retired Sgt. Ronald Conn.

My husband, a Veteran, suffers from many health problems due to an injury he received during a training mission for his country. But it doesn’t stop him from continuing to fight for our Veterans right here in our beautiful state we call home, Alabama the Beautiful!

My husband does not want to be considered a hero but he is to so many as well as he is mine and my children’s hero! He works with several organizations here locally and afar for his fellow veterans to ensure they are getting the help and care they deserve for protecting us and our freedom.

He raises money for organizations such as his local Veterans American legion Post 911, in Hoover, for The Chris Kyle Foundation, Wounded Warriors that is here local to help veterans get to doctor’s appointments and counseling, Saving Forgotten Warriors and one of our favorites is 22 Too Many, an organization that brings awareness to our veterans that feel they cannot get help and give up and commit suicide. The name 22 Too Many comes from the fact that we have at least 22 Veterans commit suicide daily.

He also does local car shows and parades in our area to show his Military Tribute car, Patriot, which is military themed, to raise money for our local Veterans Organizations. Everything penny he receives or wins for placing in car shows and such goes to an organization.

He also donates his time to escort and serve the American Legion Veterans Retreat in Wetumpka.

Dollar Bill and Madison’s latest “Doing Good” sharing the good works Retired Sgt. Ronald Conn does for our Veterans. Watch for the surprise at the end!
