Spencer Graves was shocked when he learned that Megan Terry has never had to use a check to pay for anything.
Megan said that she's familiar with how to write one but she hasn't had to use a check. Megan doesn't have any check and now she needs one to put earnest money down on a home she plans to buy. So now she has to try to figure out how to fill this out and how to get one without waiting two weeks to place an order for a checkbook that she doesn't need - she just needs one!
Spencer said this makes him feel old. Spencer told Meg that checks used to be the norm. From making purchases at the store to paying bills, checks are second nature to him. He doesn't get how she wouldn't know these things.
