Obesity Rates Have Doubled
- According to the CDC, the number of states with high obesity rates has doubled in the past two years
- In 2020, there were 16 states with obesity rates over 35%
- Overall, Mississippi had the highest obesity rates, at 39.7%, with Delaware, Iowa, Ohio, and Texas having rates above 35% for the very first time
- Colorado is the state with the lowest obesity rate, only 24.2%
