This is so sweet! Charles Barkley graduated from the Leeds City School district in 1981 and he never forgot where he came from. Over the years, Charles has quietly donated over 3 million dollars in scholarships for students from Leeds to attend college if they wanted to. During the pandemic he stepped up with laptops for virtual learners, even clorox wipes to keep everyone safe. Now Charles has done something so incredible for the staff of all LCS. He gifted every one of them a $1,000 bonus for "going the extra mile" over the last year. What a nice way to head into the summer!
