Joe Nichols is getting slammed for his rendition on 'God Bless America' at this year's MLB All-Star Game.
We'll call me crazy but I really liked it! It reminded me of a little George Jones and Randy Travis flavor. It sounded authentic, honest, sincere and stuck to the original melody of what we've come to expect from that song. He wasn't drunk, he didn't forget the words and he did it without any music. I would love to hear all off the brave critics perform the same song acappella in front of 70,000 fans and on tv in front of millions and even come close to matching Joe.
