- The Bottom Line: Americans voted Texas as the best state for barbecue, and New York for pizza, while Kentucky, Louisiana and Georgia were considered the best states for fried chicken
- 55% of people swear their homemade fried chicken is better than anything you can get at a restaurant
- 23% of folks fear frying chicken at home saying it’s too messy and too dangerous
- Bone-in drumsticks is considered the best cut of meat for fried chicken, followed by a bone-in breast/tenderloin
