Two patient deaths at UAB could be linked to Legionnaire's Disease. The two patients were among eight people who tested positive for the legionella bacteria. All the cases were in the hospital's hematology and oncology unit at the Women and Infant's Center. The hospital says it's unclear if the bacteria caused the deaths. UAB says the water system was flushed,and new filters put onto shower and faucet heads. Legionella usually travels by water.
